Agility is Evolve’s very own Document Management software. It was born from a simple idea: to make document management straightforward and efficient for businesses. Over the past decade, the team behind Agility noticed that many off-the-shelf software products were (and are!):
- Overloaded with unnecessary features,
- Challenging to navigate. and
- Came with a hefty price tag.
They discovered a recurring frustration during customer conversations – the need for a straightforward, efficient way to scan, store, and retrieve documents.
That’s why Agility dedicated two and a half years to working closely with software developers. The result of this collaboration is Agility, a solution that embodies their vision. The Agility team has created something truly unique, focusing on providing a simple document solution at a price point that’s accessible to all.
Agility offers an alternative to outdated, time-consuming, and costly document storage, search, and retrieval solutions.
Agility’s Adam Logsdon takes up the story.
Why did you create Agility?
Adam: “The reason we made Agility? Obviously we’ve been doing software now for four or five years, and we’ve always struggled with off-the-shelf products, mainly because, one, they’re expensive. You need a minimum buy-in, usually of at least five users, to make the product worthwhile. They come with annual payments, maybe like £1,500 for five licenses, but you might only need one.
“The other thing is they are complex to use. What we have found with the off-the-shelf products is while they do work really, really well, they are extremely feature-rich. People don’t want to relearn how to do the job to make the job better. They want something that’s simple that they can just implement into the standard day-to-day routine, and it just works, and Agility just does that. It’s simple to use.
“We built it that way on purpose. We get that the end users aren’t IT people. That’s our bit. That’s what we have to try and help them with. But if we can make software that’s simple to use, software that beats the off-the-shelf products, and software that provides better or similar features, then you’re winning. The other reason is it adds relationships.
“If we can supply more to our customers, they’ve got less reason to move elsewhere because if we’re ticking all those boxes, why would they ever consider moving to somebody else?
“If we’re giving them great service, great products, if we’re constantly updating the product to keep it current and relevant, it becomes a no-brainer to them. And when the product genuinely works and helps, which we’ve heard from our feedback, yeah, it’s going really well.”
